Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This policy explains how Myths Retold Uploader (the "App") handles data. The App is a private tool used only by the owner of the Myths Retold YouTube channel to upload and manage the videos of their own channel. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.
What the App accesses
When the channel owner authorizes the App with their Google account, it requests access through the YouTube Data API and the YouTube Analytics API to:
- upload videos, thumbnails and captions to the owner's own channel and schedule their publication;
- add those videos to the channel's own playlists and edit their descriptions;
- read basic information and statistics of the owner's own channel and videos (views, likes, comments count, audience retention and traffic sources) to measure how the videos perform.
The App does not read, collect or store any data about viewers or other YouTube users, and it does not access email, contacts, files or any other Google service.
How the data is stored
The authorization token and the channel statistics are stored only on the owner's own computer. No data is sent to any server operated by Myths Retold, and nothing is sold, shared with or disclosed to third parties. Data is sent only to Google's own APIs to perform the actions listed above.
Use of Google user data
The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The App uses YouTube API Services and is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access
The channel owner can revoke the App's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the locally stored token removes all data the App keeps.
